The Big Apple

We're 3 and a half hour away by bus (Greyhound in this particular case).

Again, we went to the Skating Club of New York Showcase competition. We had a nice trip. The bus was ok , on time, we had some problems on the city arrival (oh, come on! it's not that snowy!) but we got there safe. We stayed at Jose's brother's friend's apartment (could somebody tell me if that amount of 's is ok?). it was nice, small but greatly located (next to a subway stop and a few blocks away from Chelsea Piers ice rink.

I wouldn't say my skating program was perfect, I missed a flip jump, my back spin was weird and my camel spin lacked of the spinning part, but I felt good with myself. I placed 5th, and I won't say how many people were competing. We placed 2nd on the Theater On Ice, but our program was really nice... I'm dying to watch it!!! (that's the bad part of skating: you can't watch the show).

We went to the Empire State observatory, to the Met, and fooled around in Times Square. I wish we had more time to spend there, but as soon as my brother in law moves there, I'll go and visit him.
