We Cambridge people...

So, Jose and I decided to make our Superbowl night useful: we went to the movies.

This time (and I don't know if I wrote about my first experience Boston), we went to the Kendall theater, at Kendall Square of course. I should make a note here: I've been living here in the USA for a year and a half, and I still don't understand the "square" concept. I don't know if it's just a crossroads, or a small tiny little plaza that I just can't see... ok, Kendall Square, wherever that is.

The first time we went to the cinema, we went to the one next to the Boston Common, which I guess is one of the most elegant cinemas in the area. Now that we went to the movies in Cambridge, the place was way more simple, not fancy at all... even the tickets were very simple (just a printed receipt-like paper... by the way, I'm impressed of how fancy are movie tickets back in Mexico, they're like the fancy ones at Boston!), and it was less expensive, which is good. We saw "Up in the air". It's good, I liked it, although the end of the movie, when the guy..... jajajaja, no, I'm not giving any spoilers here.

Well, the point is that I kind of noticed a difference between Boston and Cambridge (for the people who haven't been here, we're just a Charles river away... Boston is the city in the back of my picture here). I guess Boston is the fancy city, and Cambridge is its students' version.

Next: Carla goes to the Big Apple!!
